Honor Play review

Hình ảnh
Source: Honor Play review introduction The alluring but always elusive gaming smartphone – many have tried to build it, even Razer, but no one has made it perfect. Now Honor is also getting into the gaming race, but with a new concept. Instead of size, the new Honor Play strives for affordability. And that’s a very welcome turn of events. The Honor Play looks like most smartphones today – a metal body, a notched screen and a dual camera on the back. The Kirin 970 chip is responsible for the gaming session and the Play comes with Huawei’s GPU Turbo natively. The Kirin 970 is known as one of the most efficient pieces of hardware for mobile gaming – it doesn’t cost that much but offers stable and sustainable performance. And with GPU Turbo, it can only get better. The 6.3-inch 1080p screen, notch or not, is enough for gaming purposes, there’s a big battery, and you can have the Honor Play with either 4 or 6GB of RAM. And at this attractive price at launch – CNY 1,999, INR £19,999...

Hình ảnh
Source: Razer has added more Barracuda headsets to its line-up (Pocket-lint) – Razer has unveiled the Barracuda and Barracuda Pro, along with an update to the Barracuda X. These are so-called “street-style” gaming headsets, which the company claims will give you the purest sound, whatever you’re doing. In other words, these are gaming headsets designed to work well whether you’re gaming at home or on the go outside of your home. The flagship of this range is the Razer Barracuda Pro, which not only offers 50mm Triforce drivers, THX certification and 2.5GHz or Bluetooth connectivity, but also Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation Technology. According to Razer, this means gamers can make the most of an uninterrupted audio experience that allows them to fully immerse themselves in the game and enjoy the sound with minimal interruption. The Barracuda Pro is also interesting for other reasons. One of them is dual connectivity. With the Razer SmartSwitch Dual Wireless technology, the heads...

Fujifilm introduces the X-H2S with 6.2K video and ProRes

Hình ảnh
Source: Fujifilm introduces the X-H2S with 6.2K video and ProRes (Pocket-lint) – Fujifilm has announced its latest flagship mirrorless camera, the X-H2S, and surprisingly it looks like a video powerhouse. The X-H2S is the most powerful X-series camera to date, in terms of both video and still image capabilities. It is equipped with a stacked 26.15 MP APS-C sensor supported by a processor that is twice as fast as its predecessor. It can autofocus stills at a blazing-fast 40 frames per second with its electronic shutter, or 15 per second with a satisfying mechanical click. There’s five-axis image stabilization in the body and Fujifilm claims it offers an advantage of up to 7 stops. The X-H2S has a magnesium body with a prominent LCD display on top for checking settings. Unusually, there’s no shutter speed dial on this version, potentially marking the switch to a more video-oriented camera, and this is bolstered by the addition of a dedicated video record button. On this front, th...

ZTE Axon 9 Pro hands-on review

Hình ảnh
Source: ZTE Axon 9 Pro hands-on review introduction ZTE has grown its wireless business quite a bit lately. Experiment with different concepts, like the Nubia Red Magic, just to see what sticks. Nevertheless, a family by name has been missing from the Chinese manufacturer’s range for some time. The Axon brand has a long history of housing interesting and often conceptual high-end devices, like the foldable Axon M with two displays or the Axon 7 with its amazing Dolby Atmos stereo speaker setup. Well, Axon is finally back with another flagship – the Axon 9 Pro. Just like its siblings, it doesn’t disappoint in the innovation and exciting technology front. Sonos Ray review: Budget brilliance

Hình ảnh
Source: Sonos Ray review: Budget brilliance (Pocket-lint) – Sonos already had the top-end Sonos Arc and mid-range Sonos Beam (2nd gen) for soundbar seekers to consider. Now the Sonos Ray has joined the portfolio. It’s the first option at the budget end of the scale that we’ve seen from the company. And while all three share a similar design language and features, the Ray obviously misses out on a few things. Are you making too many compromises by choosing Sonos Ray, or could this compact, entry-level soundbar be just the addition you need for your home? Here is our verdict. Our quick shot The Sonos Ray is a soundbar that offers an attractive design, excellent sound quality for its size, and a range of excellent features, thanks largely to the fact that it’s part of the wider Sonos system. You’ll make some compromises when choosing the Sonos Ray over its more expensive siblings, such as the Sonos Ray. There’s a lack of smart assistants, HDMI eARC support and Dolby Atmos, for exa...

Hình ảnh
Source: Sony PlayStation VR2 for PS5: Specs, rumours and what we know so far about PSVR2 (Pocket-lint) – A new version of Sony’s PSVR virtual reality headset is on the way. And this time it’s for the PS5. The Playstation VR2 was first officially unveiled in early 2021 in a blog post by Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Senior Vice President of Platform Planning and Management, Hideaki Nishino. The name and some specs were then further confirmed during CES 2022 in January. There’s no official date for it yet, but here’s everything else we know so far. What is PlayStation VR2? The first PSVR headset was released for PlayStation 4 in 2016. It was updated once (mainly to add HDR passthrough to the separate processor box) and PS4 Pro introduced higher resolutions/frame rates, but largely retained the same design and features. It worked using light sensors read by a PlayStation camera, both from the headset itself and from separate Move controllers. PlayStation VR2 is a different kett...

Natural beauty This photo shows a natural view of what is Idaho today, and it’s truly stunning — it may be a while before you even notice the human figures checking it out for themselves in the foreground. lunch time This photo shows one of many geological surveys on a lunch break as th...
